My Mother's A Spirit Devil
About
After the mother's death from the hospital, the father takes care of his only child while feeling the signs of guilt and regret. Because she never wanted a kid in the first place.
Six years later, the daughter (Ruby) asks the father when mother's coming back home. The father doesn't have the courage to answer the question, so he tried to think ways to answer it without making Ruby cry. But he saw darkness and redness coming from the backyard before he gets a chance to say anything. There was knocking on the door. A dark figure that looked like the mother. The father was in shocked, scared even. The door opens.
Out of the dark and red static clouds, the mother enters the house and greets Ruby with a soft smile in her face. Ruby gave her mother a hug and welcomes her back home. While hugging her daughter, she sees the father and gives him the death-stare. The father knew that she's still holding a grudge against him after all these years. Even after death.
My thoughts
I did thought of some episodes when it comes to being nice to someone and at the same time always have the urge to kill someone else for revenge or selfishness. I did thought of the mother's name, Rachel, but I forgot the father's name sadly. Can't even remember if it starts with an A or another R. Might remember it eventually or not.
I also thought about an ending as well where both the parents had character developments and forgive each other for their mistakes. Sadly, the mother can't stay for long and choose to go back to the underworld and say her goodbyes. The father asked her how come she didn't end up going to heaven after death. She answered that she was not forgiven for what her last words were to him and the dark thoughts on killing someone she once loved. She was corrupted through wrath and selfishness, and became a spirit to "finish the job," but never happened. The father asks if there's a possibility to face judgement again since she became a better person and her mind is no longer dark. She doesn't know, so will never know what will happen once she's gone for the last time.
