Death's Messenger
About
In the era where everyone fears death, even when they think they're brave enough to outsmart it, one tells a tale where he saw the lifeless eyes of the messenger but was never given the words once he was gasping for air, because he survived, and the messenger was gone.
No one believes the man's story because they never experienced what's like to be on death's door. It can change one person's mind when they're dying from any causes.
My thoughts
I did think about this story for a little while but I'm sure animating certain things is gonna be a pain to deal with anyways, like the smoke effect, fire, or even some form of fading or something. I was inspired by some video game, but of course, the story is completely different than the game itself. Thinking of ways on how the person can die but meeting with the messenger before it happens can be difficult in some cases since I have to know what backstory each character has and what will the messenger tell them before their soul leaves their body. It's a complicated cartoon I thought of, and it carries its own mystery here and there, so that's why I don't think I'll think more of the story sooner or so.
